This blog is not here to publish "pretty" stories about pirates. If you are looking for Johnny Depp or Errol Flynn, you're in the wrong place. Not all pirates were forced. A vast majority of the men who became pirates chose the piratical lifestyle. (But being forced to join did happen.)They committed crimes and performed atrocities. So please do not enter this blog expecting a pretty read. I am not going to hide or varnish over what these men and even women did. I just want you to enter the realm of the Whydah pirates fully informed.
